Crush of the Week: Johnny Depp

Johnny-Depp-movies

Well, I’ve been running out of inspiration recently for my ‘Crush of the Week’. I haven’t been watching enough TV and Movies. But I found some inspiration on a ‘Circle of Moms’ forum about hot actors – and by a longshot, Johnny Depp was the most liked. So for all you ladies, here we go.

John Christopher Depp II(born June 9, 1963) is an American actor and musician. Depp was born in Owensboro, Kentucky ans is actually of French and Native descent. He moved around a lot as a kid with his family. In the 80’s he pursued a career in music and met Nicholas Cage who encouraged him to go into acting. His breakthrough role was in the TV series 21 Jump Street.

Although he is best known for his role as captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates – I liked him most in Edward Scissorhands, Benny & Joon, What’s Eating Gilbert Grape?, Chocolat, Blow and many others.

There’s just so much to say about him ; check out this link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johnny_Depp

This week’s ‘crush of the week’ is Charlie Hunnam. I am a huge fan of Sons of Anarchy and thought he would make a nice addition. Recently, on my Facebook, I stumble upon a clip of him dressed in a suit, chatting with a reporter and I realized he’s British! That accent!! Just when I thought he couldn’t get any sexier…

From Wikipedia:

He is known for his roles as Jackson “Jax” Teller in the FX series Sons of Anarchy, Nathan Maloney in the Channel 4 drama Queer as Folk (1999–2000), Lloyd Haythe in the Fox comedy series Undeclared (2001–02), Pete Dunham in the film Green Street (2005), and Raleigh Becket in the film Pacific Rim (2013).

Crush of the Week: David Beckham

David Beckham Lifemode

I know many of my readers are probably disappointed I opted for this photo instead of one of his underwear ads. I am cruel.

This pick was a reader’s suggestion… and I like it! It’s about time I feature a crush who isn’t an actor. But he is just as famous. Married to the ever so famous and tiny Posh spice: they have three boys and a girl. I don’t think I need to tell you too much about him – you already know.

Crush of the Week: Dylan McDermott

30_dylan_mcdermott

Yummy at fifty-three!

I’ve been featuring a lot of younger crushes and I thought it was time to feature a more mature man. Well fifty is definitely the new 40!

Mark Anthony McDermott born October 26, 1961, is an American actor best known for his roles as Bobby Donnell in The Practice and Lt. Carter Shaw in Dark Blue.

He’s been in a few films as well including Twister and In the Line of Fire. He’s been linked to Julia Roberts. Mr. McDermott is currently divorced and has two daughters.

He has also been seen in the TV series American Horror Story in which he is apparently naked a lot – I’ve never seen it – I am most definitely NOT WATCHING THE RIGHT SHOWS! 🙂

Another crush on the younger side… but what’s not to like? Jake is the inspiration for the hero in the current novel I’m working on.

“Boy next door” charm.

I just saw him in the movie “We bought a Zoo” ( which was great but a little serious for small kids in my opinion) and remembered that I love this guy.

Crush of the Week: Patrick Dempsey

The hottest brain surgeon on the planet…

Yes I know he’s fictional… but still. I can’t wait for the season premiere of Grey’s Anatomy tonight.

Patrick Galen Dempsey (born January 13, 1966) is an American actor of Irish ancestry who was born in Maine. He is best known for his role as McDreamy in Grey’s Anatomy but has also been in numerous movies including many romantic comedies. Little known facts: adept juggler and skier.
